I'm looking for personal recommendations for properly cleaning phones charging ports. My dad's phone has been blasted with anti static compressed air but he puts it in trouser/cardigan pockets and hasn't charged today.
Knee jerk thought goes to cleaning putty but I don't know if it'll get stuck. All thoughts are welcomed. Thanks.

@FourQ@mastodon.online I sharpen a cocktail stick into a long thin flat slither. That usually gets deep into the USB socket to scrap out fluff, grits, and sawdust from mine. A quick blast of air will blow out any remaining loose fluff.
