Happiness can kill you if you don't have discipline or wisdom. Joy is a worthless thing if you do not have the Scriptures tempering its excesses and giving you a true appreciation for God's blessings. This man had everything that worldly people want: great health, lots of money, a handsome appearance, fame and adulation, and access to all kinds of pleasure. He also had emotional contentedness, claiming all sorts of "mindfulness" practices. He still went nuts doing drugs and died.
