@hosford42@techhub.social One thing I've found that works is to meet managers and hiring folks in person. I reach out to them after doing some #OSINT to get their real email/phone. I call them, and offer to meet at the local cafe. I hand them my paper resume. They know I'm real, and I know they're real. No fake North Koreans doing AI videos. Im a real engineer sitting in the local cafe. Thats basically the boomer recommendation that utterly was laughed at till, probably 2022/3 when OpenAI started saber rattling gpt3.5 . Once we hit this point, any online anything was going to be trashed in a sea of infinite and cheap text. The answer's also quite shit too. I get that. That's the solution I've used. Building up a social network as well is another way to bypass resume/application hell.
