@Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink I think the author has been on many podcasts. Biddy Early was of the modern era, died in the 1870's. But she probably had learned of much of the herbal knowledge that 'wise women' had passed down through the generations. I'm sure some of the tales concerning her were misinformation spread by authorities (mainly priests) in order to make Biddy seem more immoral.
