Technically the difference is that granola is toasted and has sweeteners in it while muesli is uncooked and unsweetened. However, I'm fairly confident most Germans and Dutchies would refer to any granola as muesli if it were right in front of them.

@iro_miya@mk.absturztau.be In Dutch I do make a distinction between muesli and Cruesli (originally a brand name but genericized in my daily speech)
