@captainblack@hachyderm.io Oh, that's sad to hear. I loved my Series 5. Even when I could afford a real laptop later, I used the Psion often because it was so practical. Some years ago I bought the Planet Cosmo Communicator because I hoped to get this feeling and usability back, but Android is far from what Psion did. #psion

@littlealex@infosec.exchange @captainblack@hachyderm.io Same here. I used my Psion 5 to write a lot of work reports when I was working as a manager at a local authority, way back when. Then continued to use it for coursework when I returned to study as a furniture designer/maker. Then it was killed by Barcelona airport! I also bought the Planet Computers Gemini, but found it was not usable to type on as the design made the keyboard 'bounce' on the screen hinge. Also Android! I have now bought a Psion 5MX and I am using it again, I just have no way (yet) to transfer data to and from my Linux laptop as they have no transfer method in common, and PsiWin won't run on the laptop to convert files anyway! I have dug out an old Win95 laptop to try with as an interface!
