just saw a review of a video game saying "this apparently had a $250,000 budget but it doesn't live up to that hype"
uhhh. $250k in game dev is maybe a three person team for one year doing *everything* from programming, level design, art/modelling, testing, etc.

@az@scorpinc.social typical player who buys a $20 indie game and expect a $100 AAA game experience? most rant reviews I read on steam doesn't even read like they have had life experience.
