If there's anything we can learn from the current AI slopfest it's that prescriptive learning, testing, and assignments, are useless now. The only way to assess students is what my father fought his career in the ILO to introduce: instructor lead learning with continual assessment. No tests, no assignments, just someone assisting your learning and assessing your progress as you go. Not to fail you, but to help you learn better
