@danny@social.sutcliffe.xyz I rarely ever purchase a 2L because nowadays they seem to lose all of their carbonation after the first opening. I'll only buy one if my foid promises to drink the whole thing over the course of an hour or two
I'm not a big soda drinker myself, but on extra hot days like this, it's a lot more hydrating than my usual black coffee because of the sodium

@elftummy@poa.st hm, very good point. I used to do exclusively cans and still keep a few spare boxes for traveling etc, however I found that 2L bottles are significantly cheaper. Perhaps it isn't worth the tradeoff, though I am able to drink about 1-1.5 2L bottles per day so it never goes fully flat. I agree with soda being more hydrating than coffee, I only ever drink coffee if I really need the extra caffeine lol
