@danny@social.sutcliffe.xyz If you drink enough of it, and value is what you're after, you may be able to save some money with an upfront investment by installing your own soda fountain at home and then purchasing the 5 gallon bag in a box of syrup from a restaurant supply store
I have been considering it for a while because my foid is addicted to Dr pepper almost as much as a Mormon
But I have not bitten the bullet because every few months her taste changes and she picks a new soda
Earlier this year, it was root beer, and before that, it was diet Coke.
Sure, I could probably get a new syrup every time she changes but it's impossible to predict when that will be and I don't want to waste half a bag of syrup

@elftummy@poa.st to be honest I have considered that, especially since I think it usually tastes better that way. I also considered such as a soda-stream, but those are costly, more so than a fountain like that in the long term due to operational costs. I had one addicted to Dr pepper also, I'm personally not keen on it but whatever. I'm very confident that I wouldn't have the issue of syrup bag wastage, as my taste has never changed. My main issue would be having to maintain it as I often put off things like that lol
