Will #CountBinface become the Martin Bell candidate of 2026?
Politics was in the gutter in 1997 over the cash for questions scandal. Let’s not forget it was serial rapist Mohamed Al-Fayed and fossil fuel giant Mobil Oil who were giving Tory MP Neil Hamilton stuffed brown envelopes of cash to ask questions in Parliament.
And now it’s a crypto billionaire and money laundering aristocrat who evade both real justice and tax who bankroll #Farage…but apparently want nothing in return. Hmm.

‘Cottrell faced 20 years in jail for 21 counts related to money laundering, fraud, blackmail and extortion. But he eventually brokered a plea deal, admitted guilt to a charge of wire fraud and ended up serving just eight months in prison.’ Hmm…just how do you ‘buy’ that kind of justice in the US? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5yzzw5vk8vo

@JugglingWithEggs@mstdn.social Lest we forget, there was also a time more recently when #NigelFarage ran against someone else who was accused by opponents of having some dodgy dealings with a house. https://mastodon.scot/@JdeBP/116880503058147802
