A few years back at my then-workplace of around 25 people, one of our employees did an interview study on ”information capital” as part of some graduate course.
The end result was a paper and a flowchart of sorts with your typical knowledge repositories (wikis and whatnot)… and one extra box labeled ”The Solver”, a single individual who acted as a backstop when everything else failed. They even articulated that person’s pattern of getting curious and interjecting with solutions even when not explicitly asked to do so.
I was shortly thereafter diagnosed with ADHD. The dots connect themselves here. 😅
