@MetalheadDana@metalhead.club I use the phrase "shiny boots" to describe glossy country-pop musicians who wear the big cowboy hat & boots but who don't actually represent hard living or agricultural labour.
I never thought of levelling it up to "shiny shirt" cowboys, though. Shiny white shirt. The glowing halo'd patron saint of pancake breakfasts, there.

@MetalheadDana@metalhead.club OK, but now that I've read the Beaverton article, I do have to agree that would be an excellent outfit for Canada's inaugural Eurovision contestant. Just, with someone with actual rhythm & style wearing it. (I can't find any actual news stories about his appearance in Calgary this morning, so I'm guess he had nothing of note to say beyond "How d'ya like them pancakes?" Maybe his outfit was inspired by chef's whites?)
