Is it strong? No.
Is it detectable? Yes.
Is it supposed to be here? No. Hell no.
Who put it there? Why was it not in the storage cabinet? Why wasn't it disposed of safely like the dozens of sources that came before and after it?
This is an incredible lapse in organization and responsibility.

SO. I was able to identify this source positively, courtesy of the fact that it has a serial/type number engraved on its side. It was delivered in October 2000 and last appears in an inventory report in 2006, after which it just falls out of formal paperwork existence. Someone apparently felt that if it decayed below the exemption limit, it's no longer a source, and it's fine to do whatever with it. Well.
