Wow. It is 11:20am and the temp here in Alexandria, VA (DC area) is 96F, with a heat index of 117F. High today expected to be 102F. Relative humidity is 51%. Using heat index calculators, the average consensus is that when we hit 102F high, the heat index will be ~130F.
