A Kominka from the same manual rendered in the same software from 20 years ago. The Amado are moved aside to show the shoji doors (which are frosted glass in this rendering, but not in the original building.)

This is among the most picturesque of all houses, the Gasshou-Zukuri style of kominka (farmhouse). These are in Shirakawa Village, in Gifu Prefecture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
