My electric Piaggio Ape has a similar drive train and 4 big lead acid batteries that are~1/3rd of the vehicles weight at the same height as the wheels. And for that one the driver is placed way higher and the vehicle body is steel. It can drift around corners. The City El is fiberglass and the driver is placed really low so should handle even better.
