Shill - a deceptive accomplice who poses as an enthusiastic, impartial customer to trick others into buying a product or participating in a scheme. Today, the term is also used more broadly (often as a verb, to shill) to describe anyone who promotes something for pay without disclosing their financial ties. So how am I getting paid to promote AI if I’m not in the industry?
