Waterproofness is a surprisingly useful feature in a smartphone, especially when traveling. - Phone overheated from constant GPS & Camera use in the sun? Run it under a cold tap for a moment. - Hands and phone grimey from touching stuff in public transit? Just wash both. Just need to make sure to only inductively charge until the port has dried again.
