That feeling when you've been observing something for years, tried to guess these unofficial rules behind it (results of these rules are visible), but couldn't describe it precisely by words, and then you found an article which perfectly describes it, with a whole logic and historical context. Rule number 0: absolute loyalty to the ruler. I think something similar is happening right now in the US.
