Just maybe put all this money and effort into renewables, that can be used over and over again, instead of burned every time ...?
Didn't Harper try this with Energy East?

@stephanie@ottawa.place There’s major three refineries in Sarnia — Suncor, Shell and Imperial. Only Suncor is Canadian. Imperial is the Canadian arm of Exxon and Shell of course is Dutch. https://mstdn.ca/@Sanderde/116875087773858400
