@threeofswords@godforsaken.website trans women in sports really is the key "anti-trans" argument, and I sadly believe it is one that can never be won, as the "unfair advantage" idea is so deeply rooted. It is the fallback argument when they are cornered and they realize that they don't really have any other valid thing to point to than "unfair advantage". As is what happened during my latest locker room argument with a person that was "seriously concerned about the woke politics of Kamala Harris" (as if Kamala is anywhere near woke...) "You saw what happened with that boxer! This is what happens when we.." She's not trans... The dude was a bit at a loss when asked why he bring a cis woman into the argument about why trans in sports is wrong. "I.. thought she was trans..." But I would not have been able to get anywhere, had they pointed to a trans athlete winning something. They want cis women who "do not meet women criterias" excluded, this battle feels lost :/
