In just three days, I've been contacted by three academics I don't know personally, who have just registered an account at Mastodon.social – only to inform me about "the Administration of federal assistance grant program". How kind, how generous! Apparently, the program serves to improve the quality of life, and I could claim USD 200,000 – if I just pay a small administration fee of USD 3,000… #academicchatter
