@Curve25519@infosec.exchange we have pretty good toolkit for reverse-engineering the hardware, often you can also find leaked schematics (especially if it's a laptop).
Worst case you arm yourself with oscilloscope/logic analyzer, multimeter, soldering iron and some free time. It's (usually) fun :blobcatblep:
