When I was 25 and talking to elder #queer folks, most times asking „how has it been back then?“ they talked about the AIDS crisis and then their live story which most times totally unhinged and unbelievable. Most times they ended with „don’t do it like me“. Younger queer folks - talk to your queer elder and ask them how it had been back then. I am sure you will get many unhinged stories (I know I do have some :D)
