The question, "whether to geoengineer or reconcile ourselves to life in a hostile new climate", is moot.
We have ALREADY geo-engineered our planet by burning all those fossil fuels and chopping down entire forests. The question is how to recover from that.

@CelloMomOnCars@mastodon.social wouldn't it be cheaper to just reduce our carbon emissions significantly than to continue as we are and rely on unproven technofixes?
