The thing that baffles me about Lexi Alexander&#39;s pro-Platner crashout is that she admits that she doesn&#39;t believe that he&#39;s pro-Palestine. Is she *banking* on him being an actual Nazi and hoping that he destroys Israel for Nazi reasons???????

@SheWasSpeaking@toots.matapacos.dog i don't want to wade in on platnerism discussions because i have no interest in defending the man, but as a technical point: it is possible to stop israeli regional genocide without believing in a free Palestine. i believe platner's position is something like "israel should pay for their own weapons." on a purely technical level, that is enough to stop israel's war machine: their economy fundamentally doesn't work if they actually have to pay for stuff. they would be forced to simply stop engaging in the most expensive parts of their multifront war. i point this out simply because it is on the terrain of the zionist death machine somewhere in between being actually for Palestinian human rights and livelihood and freedom and being anti-israel in a nazi way.
