I have mixed feelings on Balogun's red card.
On one hand, I feel at least it should had been a yellow, and on the other hand Trump (or someone masquerading as him) explicitly interfering sets the stage for other host nations to do the exact same.
That being said, this is all FIFA's doing. All they had to do is just have the WorldCup in Mexico and Canada only.
Trump's "peace prize" from FIFA should have been everyone's clue about what was to come

@hasani@my-spaces.social I love futbol, but I cannot see the game, for the static of gamblers riding upon the players and referees backs. It's all I can see when Fifa is on, the games have been bought, leaving the athletes as pawns. It's very sad to me.
