Don't know if anyone has noticed this, but when there's a popular figure on the American scene you often see look-alikes pitching stuff in TV commercials. For example, there was a guy who looked and could sound a good bit like Ronald Reagan; in the 80s he was in demand for advertisements (he was also in "Trading Places" as a stock exchange guy towards the end). There was a sudden influx of AOC look-alikes in ads a few years ago, too, and I still see some sometimes. Now I'm starting to see Mamdani look-alikes on TV. Has anyone else noticed that? #Politics
