Gathering wood from a friend for firewood. This is likely not a prime species (a mix of hemlock and something else, I believe) and there is a little rot on the outer inch of some logs. Will salvage what I can. I really wish I had a dump trailer or dual axle trailer. A truck would also be great. And it looks like until I can afford a log splitter; I’ll be getting some exercise and working on my log splitting form. #homestead #maine
