“Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith have unveiled a proposed route for a new west-east crude oil pipeline that would run from Alberta to Ontario.
—————————————-
The proposal stems from a memorandum of understanding between Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan focused on new energy and trade infrastructure.”
Who cares what those NDP types in Manitoba think?

@Sanderde@mstdn.ca This looks very much like the failed energy east pipeline, except it ends in Sarnia rather than Quebec & New Brunswick. Will that make any difference? Relying on lower volume laker tankers? Or Just a way to export more oil to the US, but eastern Us? Who’s paying to move oil produced by the oil multinationals operating in Canada?
