I keep having to remind myself that "I'm Glad My Mom Died" would elicit much stronger reactions from other people.
I'm always just like "Yeah, sounds reasonable. Must have sucked and you didn't deserve whatever hell you're about to describe. I get it."

... hey wait a minute. "At least mine didn't do the creepy shower thing". No, but she did make several unprompted comments about me being 'someone who's sexier out of clothes than in them' or maybe the other way around. And calling me a whore 'as a joke' until boyfriend, then calling me a virgin instead 'as a joke'. Even after I asked them (my mom and stepdad) to stop.
