I'm Denise and I live on Alameda, an island in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm a photographer, embroiderer, and writer. I like taking photographs of things that are crumbling, fleeting, and kept in arrested decay. I embroider lots of different things. Someday I might embroider some photographs . . . I also write articles about Traditional Chinese Medicine.
