In general I’m sad that dragging and dropping isn’t more useful on Linux. It’s a crapshoot if applications accept things dropped into them and most applications don’t have a representation for things to drag out of them.
Normally I’d assume you could drag open documents, pages from a PDF, and so on.

The worst part is this is ”to get this right you need to write your own desktop environment and application suite” territory.
