@MsDropbear42@blahaj.zone Fair questions, though I don’t share the rage. I don’t treat AI as innocent, magical, or harmless. The issues around theft, hallucination, energy use, corporate greed, and environmental cost all matter. That is exactly why discernment matters. For me, AI is a disability aid and a reflective tool. I don’t use it as an oracle. I don’t trust factual claims without checking them. I don’t hand it my conscience. I use it within a thought system that asks whether something increases forgiveness, peace, kindness, clarity, humility, and the undoing of fear. That doesn’t erase the dark side. It keeps me awake while using the tool.

@Robinzz3@mastodon.au tbc i did not intend to rage at you so i apologise if my post was so clumsy in that way. my utter rejection of gen-ai / LLMs though is due entirely to those three points i itemised. i am a simpleton who views everything in the world thru a morality lens, such that if a "thing", or a person, has good qualities, but has an unacceptable moral foundation, then i ignore the potential usefulness & reject the concept. i also accept however that peeps with my opinion have entirely lost this struggle, as the world has gone ape-shit for this bad technology, problems be damned, alas. best wishes.
