@weres@mastodon.social Thanks for your observations! Yes, timed vs untimed is fascinating. Had a good blitz rating once, and correspondence mode is very new to me although I heard about it decades ago. I think I need to deliberately play loads of random live games now and get beaten to a pulp humiliatingly, then just accept that I'm that kind of level. Still got to overcome reacting negatively to losing.
