Lucky there was this jungle gym rope net here. It looks nothing like a spider web, which goes out from a central point.
I will give this movie credit, it doesn't bother showing a Sheriff not believing the kids.

I, for one, welcome our new Giant Spider overlords. You don't see them fucking each other over for a percentage.
