I completed transcribing the almost 1 hour long #grandma recording today. One part contained her telling that she saw St. Petersburg (Russia), Finland, Sweden,, Norway, England, Scotland and France and that she is happy, with what she saw during her life (and with her life in general, despite all the hardships). It's always inspiring to be able to listen to that. I hope, I will be able to take a bit of that optimism with me, for when I'm older. #genealogy
