I wonder sometimes if we on the left treat Thiel as the same sort of empty boogeyman that the right finds in Soros. But Thiel can't seem to stop pushing crazy shit, while Soros is just kind of... there. I wish I didn't have to know about him at all, but he's an oligarch and thus everyone's problem.
