Has anyone else been watching the Big Bear Eagle cam? If so, then you saw Sandy leave the nest today at 84 days old. It is such a treat year after year to watch the eaglets from hatchlings to fledge, or in Sandy's case today, FLUDGE, when her little brother accidentally knocked her off the limb. But she recovered and flew away. Luna, who was born one day later, will be gone any minute, and the nest will be empty until next winter or spring when the Big Bear eagles, Jackie and Shadow, welcome new chicks, if we are all so fortunate.
