@Heil_Honkler@poa.st @Nothing@poa.st eh, i played for a while when it first came out.. had finished digging through BotW, and wanted more of that style gameplay, and Genshin was just there, free.. sure.. had no idea what a 'gacha game' was ... i think it was an 8+ hours of unvoiced, unskippable, cutscenes in in a main story quest you had to finish to progress in the game , and it would kick ya back anywhere from 20 min to an hour every time ya disconnected that finally drove me away.. and their constant manipulative pushing to get ya to spend, creating problems and then putting the solution in a slot machine

@HonkHonkBoom@poa.st @Heil_Honkler@poa.st There are really a lot of unnecessary prolonged parts in the story lol (:ded_cat:)

@HonkHonkBoom@poa.st @Heil_Honkler@poa.st @Nothing@poa.st The unskippable dialogues are really fucking annoying, and I also don't like the time-limited events, being pressured to do something "before X date" is stupid, just add them to the game as quests and let people play at their own pace. But other than that I really like Genshin though I barely even play it. It's gorgeous, it's responsive, it's a really nice place to just zone out and relax and run around in. It's a shining example of how superior China is in culture to the West.
