July 4, 1980, my high school bf and I took the Metro from Alexandria, VA to DC to watch the Beach Boys play on the Mall. We got there nice and early, found a great place to throw our towels. AND proceeded to ROAST. It was so hot, and we had so little water to drink that we left the Mall before the concert and went back home 🤣. Were any of you Fedizens there that day? #July4th
