@broadwaybabyto@zeroes.ca What if your not angry though? I've been blind my whole life, was born this way, and I'm really just too tired to be angry. People are gonna think what they think of us, its really not my problem at the end of the day that I should feel any sort of pride or any feelings at all toward having a disability. I live my life day by day, that's it, that's all, why should I incorperate disability pride in my life when there is nothing to be proud of?

@broadwaybabyto@zeroes.ca Its not like I chose to be blind or asked for it, but i turned out this way, so instead of seeing pride in it, I just move forward with my life, because the real pride for me comes in the goals I want to meet and do not despite or because of my blindness getting in the way, but simply because I live life like everyone else. Its why I never understood why a disability pride month has to exist.
