I'm old enough to remember the #Bicentennial. We had just lost a war against a smaller nation. An incompetent #Republican president was embroiled in scandal due to a historically criminal presidency, who was mocked weekly on #SNL as a bumbling fool. Is this how we're going to celebrate every x50 centennial now? 🤔
