The only thing left to celebrate about this nation is the tiny chance that it might get better: remove its idiot King and repudiate the selfish, greedy, patriarchal, white supremacist worldview that put him on his corporatist throne. Despite everything, I cannot seem to stop believing in that chance. And belief without evidence, or in this case, in the face of gobs of evidence to the contrary -- is faith.
