I've just powered it on for the first time in 20 years or so. And it still works! I'll start up a VM with Windows 98 (apparently there is also an open source SDK for linux but many websites from the era are no longer up) and see if I can get write some new software for it now that I am finally good at writing C code. Maybe I can port REBOUND?

So I’ve installed the original software from the original CD (which includes the SDK!) on a physical machine (I couldn’t get Win98 on a VM for some reason). And everything just works! The software is very old school. But hey, IT WORKS. The SDK comes with #gcc version 2.7! #retrocomputing
