@Black_Flag@beige.party there aren't so many communists or anarchists, etc. because we live in a system where meritocracy both does and doesn't exist. Believing in this system makes it work (ideology) while also showing off the contradiction that it doesn't (criticism of the current system and it's ideology). Meaning we kinda live in a system where basic needs are met for the majority or at least the capitalist propaganda says that and many do in fact believe it while obviously the needs aren't met for many people. What I want to say is that when the "needs" are met and your time from day to day is planned in such a way that there is only 8h for recreational activities you most likely won't choose to spent it with "hegelian contradictions". While we know the truths of the enlightenment we live like animals whose needs are met. We don't have to think. But Hegel is right when he says that this isn't living not being confronted by contradictions isn't living that's ideology (a veil that lays over reality) we have to acknowledge that we are sick animals because only a sick animal needs to think when it has to hunt in order to eat. Capitalism and its ideology took that away from us and yeah sarcastically saying that I wonder how we aren't more is right but that entirely misses the point of understanding the ideology that we live in. You point out the contradiction while using capitalist ideology. (I'll continue this with the next message)

@Black_Flag@beige.party while we as communists, leftist, etc. should acknowledge that someone who has worked 8h a day in a tough job doesn't want to read hard to understand things. That's true but without knowing about the ideology of the system we live in we are predestined to continue its errors, fail to argue against it or make it worse i.e. communists who abandoned the state (the contradiction between private person and public person) and therefore created a bureaucratic system that was worse with Stalin's autocracy

@Black_Flag@beige.party we don't have to hunt that's a metaphor for we have to think before we do thinks and thinking allows us to describe things and by describing things you always have to describe what it's not. You can't describe yourself without using the word gay/queer/etc. you always have the contradiction by definition. You have to be not gay, queer, etc. to be straight.
