About the #mullvad scandal and the search of many to find an alternative... In fact, it fully makes sense that we have less and options, regarding #vpn and regarding basically any #IT service. Because #trust is vanishing. In #itsec , there is always a level at which you must delegate your trust: with #PKI , certificate authority is a good example of this. For example, informed people don't like to reveal their #IP information to their ISP. They can use a #DNS service, but then this one will know. VPN provider, ditto. Etc. Especially in a #collapsing world, our options will vanish. #opensource will just slightly delay it. I see no escape to this at all 😨
