@notjustbikes@social.notjustbikes.com thank you - and yes, I have also had stupid online arguments about this with stupid people who were either blowhards or must have connections to the oil/nuclear industries. Base load *was* a thing, but not any more. Now it's about smoothing the variable sustainable load with batteries, pumped storage etc.
