it's funny how there's this idea that if a minor, a teenager, sees porn, they'll explode, become an horrible person as everyone else that was a teenager at one point, teens consume a lot of porn, and always had lmao

@agatha@gts.snkrgirl.cfd yeah, if I was president or something, I'd completely abolish the age limit for viewing porn. A minimum age for participation in porn, sure, but for consuming it? Should be completely unrestricted access in my opinion. Also I think I'd allow minors to draw and publish fictional porn (like hentai and yiff), as part of freedom of art. Parents and school should teach kids about how porn is an unrealistic fantasy and give them the safety and trust to report anything actually harmful (CSAM or real rape, for example) if they accidentally find it or get groomed, instead of them being too scared to admit they went to a porn page at all. We don't need "age verification" (ageist discrimination enforcement with a side dish of surveillance for everyone), we need youth empowerment.
